This is not your average group tour. When Dev came to visit Jess in Paris they spent their time biking, eating,and going to all the places Jess has discovered in her 10 years in Paris. These two bon vivants had their usual laid-back fabulous time with none of the common travel pitfalls or unexpected surprises that occur when you visit a place you don’t know well.
We shared our adventure, our joie de vivre, on social media and were inundated with people saying ‘Take me with you!’ ‘Can I come next time?’ ‘How do I get to do this?’ and, and Gunnas International was born. We decided to share that awesome travel experience with everyone.
We will be limiting our huddle to a small group of like-minded travellers who want to see all the best things at their own pace. There will a curated itinerary with activities and meals offered every day, but everything is optional and nothing is overwhelming. You won’t be in bed at 1am and up at 6am on a bus (unless you want to be).
There will be down time built in but if you’re keen to squeeze every minute out of your time in France, we will furnish you with our “Best Of” lists to explore in your own time. Want to know the best cafes to people watch from (with Melbourne-standard coffee of course)? The best off-the-beaten track galleries and museums and how to get tickets? The best area to browse bookshops? We have got you covered.

Dev has been running Gunnas Writing Masterclass since 2017. In that time she has had over 10,000 people come through her masterclasses, retreats, workshops and zoom bootcamps. Gunnas are for people who are gunna write, gunna write more, gunna write different, gunna write better, gunna write that thing they are stuck on. or just write with more pleasure and less angst. Gunnas is for all levels, all genres and there is no sharing. Promise.
Every day on Gunnas International there will be a 60 minute writing block in various gorgeous places. You’ll take as much time as you need to write alone all over Paris and Provence and because you’ll be hanging out with writers (and people who love them) all day you can chat, discuss, moan and inspire each other. Dev will be oncall for all your questions, queries and advice on all things writing, life, pleasure and carpe diem.
What is not included?
You’ll need to organise and pay for your own flights, snacks or extra meals, extra booze if a glass of wine or two is not enough, free time activities and travel insurance.
We have planned several bespoke experiences for you, including but not limited to; a market tour and cooking class, a highlights museum tour with an expert guide, wine tasting and history tour, neighbourhood walks, writing workshops in stunning locations, a sexy cabaret show, bookshop tours, dinners and lunches in our’ favourite Paris haunts, a map-making atelier, bike tours… and that’s before we get to Provence!
All these activities are included in the price.

1st deposit – $1000 due by May 20 non refundable unless cancelled on our end.
2nd payment – $2000 due by June 20
Final payment due by – July 15
We are more than happy to set up a payment plan, as long as the targets are met by the due date.
If anything happens, we’ll refund you everything up to your deposit up to a month out from the trip. Inside a month, unfortunately, we won’t be able to refund, as we will have paid all our vendors already and be set to host you. We will, however, be able to help you with evidence for your travel insurance. We recommend reading closely the T&Cs of your insurance.
